If You dont want the extra exp, just unequip the ring and sells the books for 1 gp. Once equipped, you get either smaller exp books, which boost your xp a little, or the big book which basically adds +1 lvl.If You dont want to grind mobs then these books can improve the gameplay because they are a few quite tricky battles early on. Growth Ring and Mole Amulet both are comfort items.
AFAIK, they are intended for those who pkayed the original DS title and feel nostalgic. I did not buy any of both Chibi art packs, and do not plan to. So, buy them if you're a big fan of the game and want to see more but you can probably skip them otherwise without regrets. The (4 separate?) alternate timeline DLCs are sort of in-between for me-I'd argue they exist to add character development. I like the original portraits from the DS version don't personally care at all about the Chibi art or fan-service bathing suit DLC. Though I'll admit this game isn't nearly as bad as some when it comes to grinding. It might be worth buying some of this even if you don't care much about easy difficulty-As I get older, I have less and less patience for constant grinding. If you like the game you probably will want to replay it.Įasy mode isn't really a mode but there is some paid DLC that accomplishes the same thing by shortening various grinding for levels, money, etc with either equipable items or a regrindable dungeon that gives better rewards.
